Alberto Rivera Scholarship

For Collegiate Undergraduates

In honor of Lambda Sigma Upsilon Founding Father Alberto Rivera. This scholarship is given to the Lambda Sigma Upsilon Undergraduate of the year. The recipient embodies all of the educational, leadership, and quality characteristics that embody the goals of the Foundation.

Guani Scholarship

For Collegiate Undergraduates

This scholarship is awarded to one undergraduate brother of Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Inc. that displays the values and determination of what it means to be an Upsilon Man.

Grants

AIDS Awareness Grants

For AIDS awareness advoates

The Foundation is proud to sponsor these grants for the purpose of educating college students and the community at large on the AIDS epidemic and, more importantly, the prevention of this currently incurable disease.

Educational Leadership Grants

For High School and College Students

These grants are available for the promotion and education of leaders of on our college campuses and in our communities. These grants promote leadership development and becoming productive members of our society.

About Us

The Latinos Siempre Unidos (LSU) Foundation was founded on November 27, 2007 as non-profit educational foundation that provides educational opportunities for Latino High School and College students for their educational advancement and leadership development. The LSU Foundation is a 501c(3) charitable organization under the IRS Tax Code. Any contribution made to the Foundation is entirely tax deductable.

What we do

The LSU Foundation provides opportunities that LSU has never been able to offer the community before. These include scholarships and grants to high school and college students for their educational needs and development, fundraisers for social and community awareness, and also for HIV/AIDS related philanthropies.

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the oversight of the LSU Foundation. The Board adopts rules, regulations, and policies governing the Foundation.
