Health & Safety Resources.
Lambda Sigma Upsilon is committed to providing relevant health and safety resources for chapters, advisors and members to use in educating chapter members and/or in planning safer events.
Many of the resources below have been adapted from resources provided by Holmes Murphy Fraternal Practice, Lambda Sigma Upsilon’s insurance provider. In addition to these health and safety resources, chapters and members are encouraged to utilize available online, campus, and community resources.
Risk Management.
Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Inc. (LSU) is committed to the safety, well-being, and responsible conduct of its members, pledges, guests, and the community. This Risk Management Policy outlines the guidelines for minimizing risk and ensuring that all fraternity events and activities are conducted safely and responsibly, in alignment with our four goals of Academic Excellence, Cultural Awareness and Diversity, Brotherhood, and being a role model to the community.
Anti-Hazing.
Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Inc. (LSU) is dedicated to fostering leadership, scholarship, and brotherhood in an environment built on respect, trust, and unity. Hazing is antithetical to these core values and will not be tolerated. LSU strictly prohibits all forms of hazing by federal, state, and university regulations and is committed to its members' and pledges' safety, dignity, and well-being.
Mental Health.
This policy ensures that members of Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Inc., are supported in their mental health and well-being. The fraternity is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that promotes mental wellness, reduces stigma, and provides resources for those in need.
Anti-Drug and Alcohol.
Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Inc. (LSU) is committed to promoting the health, safety, and well-being of all its members and the broader community. As a brotherhood dedicated to leadership, scholarship, and service, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity, responsibility, and respect for the law.
