Director of Intervention & Healthcare Services at Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha, Inc.
Christian is a veteran public health professional who strives to bridge the gap between policymakers, community partners, and vulnerable populations affected by their decisions. He is currently the Director of Intervention and Healthcare Services for Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha, Inc. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has been professionally involved in Operations, Strategic Planning, Child Welfare Systems, Financial Management, Quality Improvement, and Community Engagement. Christian became interested in Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Incorporated during his time as an undergraduate student and eventually crossed at the Anasazi Chapter in Fall 2019. What began as a curiosity into what LSU was about ultimately transformed into a deep love and appreciation for the Brotherhood; one that aligns with his conviction that no one can take better care of or advocate for your community than you can. During his time as a Brother, Christian has held a variety of leadership roles including Chapter Historian, Chapter Vice-President, Chapter President, Alumni Chapter Advisor, and New Member Educator.
Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Christian is a proud alumnus of Temple University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Health. He also obtained his Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University, a Master of Health Administration from St. Joseph’s University, and is currently a Doctor of Health Science candidate at the Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
