What exactly is a “Rum and Salsa?”

A “Rum and Salsa” is an informational meeting hosted by brothers of Lambda Sigma Upsilon and open to any member of the community to attend. It is the perfect opportunity to be introduced to local brothers of the Fraternity, learn about our history, mission, and goals, and have your questions answered in person.

Despite the colloquial name, alcohol is NEVER served at any “Rum and Salsa” meetings. Rather, it’s a form of homage we pay to our founding fathers, who used to meet and bond together over rum and salsa dancing after a long day of community activism and service.
